Meet Patrick

Creating a Mt. Washington and Arroyo Seco for all.

My Story

My name is Patrick Lewis and I am a candidate for Mt. Washington representative on the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council. Since moving into the neighborhood several years ago, I have sought to give back to the community, holding weekly litter pick-up & MyLA311 reporting walks along Isabel St and Southwest Mt. Washington.

I am an urban planner, public servant, transit rider, live music fan, tennis player, and lover of all things NELA. My husband Andrew and I live in Mt. Washington near Cypress Park with our french bulldog, Chuck. We love this beautiful, diverse, and creative community and are always looking for ways to give back, hoping to make life here safer, easier, more affordable, and more fun for everyone.

Neighborhood Councils are the closest level of governance to the people. While they may not have a massive budget, they influence elected leaders at other levels and can act as the megaphone for our community to seek help, resources, support, improvements, change, and so much more.

This is our opportunity to work together towards a safer, cleaner, greener Mt. Washington and Los Angeles. The time is now.

Let's get to work!
